LEARN HOW TO AUDITION
- We'll start out with variety of assessments and vocal drills
- Get energized to apply our vocal principles to musical styles as various as the blues, gospel, R&B, country, and pop
Next week: Have a TV commercial memorized. Bring script.
VOCAL CERTIFICATION 2
COMMERCIALS
- Prepare for the 5 main types of TV commercials
- Learn the different techniques for each type: improv, interview, infomercial, non-speaking vs. speaking commercials
- Learn to work with props
- Develop the correct energy, pace, inflection, and timing
Next week: Have a TV script memorized. Bring 2 copies.
VOCAL CERTIFICATION 3
TELEVISION SHOW
- Learn how to audition for TV shows
- Practice TV show interviews
- Interview for Press/Media
- Understand the 8 different Character Types seen in sitcoms and dramas
- Find your Castability and work on building the correct script for your demo reel (to be created in Week 8)

FILM
- Prepare for comic and dramatic roles
- Develop scene study techniques
- Study character analysis
- Learn how to break down a script
- Learn how to develop a character
- Film footage will be provided for your demo reel
Next week: Bring a magazine, book, tablet, and/or laptop

VOICE-OVER
- Create 1 - 3 Voice-over demo reel(s)
- Develop delivering scripted dialogue in a believable way
- Learn the lingo, techniques, types of VO demos, correct pacing/enunciation, and much more!

TELEPROMPTER/IMPROV
- Learn the 21 Teleprompter tricks
- Film your Host Reel
- Become more comfortable on camera
- Understand the various forms of improv
- Practice cold reading techniques
- Learn how to self-tape for castings

Acting Workshops:
Acting Basics: Saturdays 10 am – 12 pm
Intermediate Acting: Mondays 7 pm – 9 pm
Advanced Acting: Wednesdays 7 pm – 9 pm
